I've put on at least 30 pounds since I developed arthritis. I was a swimmer before, but the pain can be pretty disabling, and some days it was about all I could manage to walk ten feet across the room… Now that I've been diagnosed and started medication, I feel like I've gotten my life back, and I don't want to squander it… And, I do still need to increase my upper body strength for days that I need to use a cane, because I find my arms giving out after walking for a while, and it makes it hard for me to get places… Thanks for making these workouts. I'm having a low to moderate pain day (with intermittent difficulty walking), but with the easier modifications, I was still able to do most of them! I had kind of written off my future, figuring I'd probably be wheelchair-bound by thirty (I'm 20), either due to pain or just not being able to get proper exercise… But I feel like I proved something to myself by finishing this, even if my arms feel like spaghetti haha.
