Are you still working out at home and looking for some good exercises to do? Look no further, I am going to give you the best resistance band exercises for your chest. You can do these exercises anywhere, all you need are some resistance bands. You can use normal resistance bands for these exercises, but for the sake of this video I will be using the standard loop band. Both kinds work well for these exercises that we are about to get into. Now, let’s get started with the best resistance band exercises for your chest, that you can do anywhere.

Exercise #1: MIDLINE CHEST PRESS. This is a great movement that will help you get a full stretch, and allow you to come across your body and get a peak contraction. If you need more resistance, but don’t have another band, step away from the pivot point to create more resistance.

When working with bands, I recommend using the higher rep range of 12-15 reps. Band exercises provide great time under tension, which will help you get a great pump! Also, make sure to focus on targeting different parts of your chest with these exercises.

Exercise #2: DECLINE CHEST FLY. Decline movements go from a high starting point to low ending point. This will bring emphasis to the lower part of your chest. I want you to do this exercise one side at a time. If you have 2 bands and 2 anchors then you can do both sides at the same time. Rotate your elbow up slightly, and pull the band down towards your waist in order to target the lower chest.

Exercise #3: BANDED PUSH UPS. This is going to add resistance throughout the whole range of motion. Wrap the bands around your shoulder, and hold the ends under your hands. You are going to have the greatest resistance at the top of the movement because that is where the band is fully stretched out.

Exercise #4: LOW BANDED CROSSOVER. You are going to step inside the band, or on top of the band. The wider your stance, the greater your resistance will be. You are going to be pulling the band across your body from low to high. This is going to work your upper chest.

These exercises combined are going to help get you a well rounded chest. Make sure to incorporate these exercises in your next chest workout, or just do these exercises when you have time at home as well if you can’t make it to the gym.
