For some reason this has no effect whatsoever for me idk if I have naturally strong calves or I'm doing the exercise wrong my calves are avg size so I don't think it's cause they're already strong
Here cuz of the coronavirus
Ive done this routine for years now and I often would stop for some time because of lack of motivation. Never seen any progress. Nowadays Im seeing some progress and these are the changes Ive done:
1) Do this 5 min routine every single day at least once ( twice if ur free on that day )
2) Dont forget to do leg day ( especially squats ) and do this 5 min routine before every leg workout. ( If ur feeling good do it after as well ). I personally do only squats and wall sit after this routine on my leg day.
3) Dont expect progress any time soon, calves are the most stubborn muscles that need to be hit every day. If you dont expect early progress , you wont lose motivation like I did.
4) Genetics. If you have a bad calves genetics like me, you will need to work hard. Prepare yourself for that. People who says "Genetics is an excuse , you just dont work hard enough" are just dumb fucks who dont deserve the calves they're having.

I was born with bilateral clubbed feet. It destroys your calf muscles. Let me tell you most people would hate themselves so much if they had the same problem I do. I went to a plastic surgeon who wanted $12k for implants. I have been doing this exercise and I am finally getting results. It means so much to me, my lower leg is gaining strength and looking bigger. Thanks so much for this, and much love to anyone with clubbed foot, stay strong!!
