If I do, will my equipment stay level? They are the only ones available in my area.

I have a small space in my garage and I only want something under the adjustable bench I'm purchasing. Plus I have Nuobell adjustable dumbbells so the mat(s) need to be able to help break the fall of a dumbbell if I accidentally drop one. So do you think the 1/2" thick mat is adequate?
Are these rough to lay on? I was thinking about using them for MMA/Wrestling too.
do your floor mats slip or slide? How did you get them to connect or hold together? Can you use these for indoor use? Im trying to turn my living room into a workout area or do you think these mats will damage my wooden floors? Can you drive your car over these mats and will they be ok?
Do you have issues on the gaps were the mats combine. It looks like some of them are uneven. Do you trip or have to be carefull not to?

I ended up using the stalls as a foundation and put zip tiles over the top the join lines done my nut in.the stall matts r so much better than the zip tiles but the zips look so much better over the top
