Day 2 of journey 2. Not a square one like 4 years ago when I found your 20/20 challenge, but a new square one after a couple intense years of working out every day sometimes several times a day. Last year took its toll mentally, emotionally, and physically as some years are bound to do, and my focus slowly from changed to something more, dare I say, forgiving on myself. I knew that I'd get back to it when I was ready. I think it's been a good month or two since I've exercised. But we moved the gym to a new room over the weekend, and my late nephew's birthday is tomorrow, and I told myself I was going to start back up this week because, well…because. I'm sure you get it, girl. Anywaaaaaay, day 2 of journey 2. Now time for a shower, mix a little bit of water with this sweat and tears. Thanks, Kat. I knew I'd be back eventually. 👏👊💪

I have been wanting to start this series for a while now but had to take a long pause on the workouts due to my back going out and having been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease. I have been slowly making my way here, and finally I have completed day 1! Still can't do burpees and struggle with mountain climbers but I modified as needed. I am now beet red and sweaty and feel great lol – Thank you, Kat for your awesome workouts and motivations!

YAAAAAAAAAS, I finally finished Day 1!!!!! I’ve been struggling hardcore with fibromyalgia, but not giving up from the pain and just doing your movement flows, modifying workouts, Tai Chi, and swimming has allowed my body to adapt and get back to my regularly scheduled program! I’m a tough cookie to break down, like you! 🍪
The small thing I’m grateful for is sweating. Which may sound odd, but I realized that I would have definitely overheated in this hot Texas sun without the fact that my body is a literal waterbender. How cool is that!? I don’t even have to do anything and my body has so many mechanisms to keep me alive, healthy, and balanced!!!! And then the big thing I’m grateful for is my puppy, Rollo.
