Here’s a simple exercise you can use for hip flexor strengthening and to develop core control using a regular resistance band. Try 3 sets of 1 minute alternating the right and left legs throughout the minute.

Remember: technique is everything!

Hey James. Will doing L-sits on a pull up bar do the same for strengthening my psoas? L-sit, meaning put my legs straight out at a 90 degree or higher raise and holding that position for as long as possible.
